Paul Halberstadt is quickly establishing a versatile identity as an orchestral violinist, soloist, cross-genre arranger, folk fiddler and an educator. He has been a member of the Atlanta Symphony since 2024. 

    Paul was born in Boston, Massachusetts and began violin at the age of four. After preparatory studies at the New England Conservatory, he received his Bachelor of Music degree in Violin Performance under the tutelage of Juliana Athayde at the Eastman School of Music, where he was a recipient of the Kelly Zou Scholarship, the Sylvia L. Gilbert Memorial Scholarship and the Howard Hanson Scholarship. He completed his Master’s degree with Stephen Rose in Violin Performance with a minor in Suzuki Pedagogy at the Cleveland Institute of Music.  

     Evelyn Halberstadt is a graduate of Grove City College, where she studied piano with Dr. Becky Billock and organ with Dr. Bradley Fitch, graduating with Highest Honors in Music. In 2018, she was a awarded a full-ride DAAD scholarship to study piano performance and collaborative piano at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar, Germany under the instruction of Dr. István Lajkó.  

     Over the past decade, Evelyn has taught over a hundred piano students of all ages as well as preschool music classes and children’s choir. She has performed as a finalist in the Grove City College concerto competition and as a collaborative pianist and choral accompanist at numerous universities and churches, including Grove City College, the Franz Liszt Musikhochschule in Weimar, Samford University, and the Alabama School of Fine Arts.
